26th CEAS-ASC Workshop of the Aeroacoustics Specialists’ Committee
Between 21 – 22 October, 2025, the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR) will organize the 26th CEAS Workshop of the Aeroacoustics Specialists' Committee. The workshop, themed "Advances on Rotor and Propeller Noise: Prediction, Mitigation, and Future Challenges", invites contributions from both scientific and industrial communities.
The workshop will include short presentations and longer keynote talks. Workshop delegates who wish to give a presentation should submit a short abstract of maximum 300 words. Contributions are invited on the following topics:
Presentations will be held in a unique session of 20-30 minutes each. The exact session duration will depend on the number of speakers.
Note: Side meetings, including the ASC meeting and PULSAR noise workshop, will be held after the CEAS-ASC workshop. Additional information about the PULSAR workshop is available below.

PULSAR Workshop - 23 October 2025
Aviation Noise Research Needs
Following the PULSAR Noise Workshop in 2024 in Bucharest, Romania, PULSAR is organizing a workshop to review, discuss, and map out the future aviation noise research needs for Europe.
PULSAR will present its EU Airport Noise Assessment, where simulations on 10 representative EU airports have been extrapolated to all 27 EU member states. A fleet of 24 aircraft has been used to predict the future noise climate in Europe according to 4 different economic scenarios.
The 2nd part of the workshop is reserved for discussions on future Research needs on aviation noise. Priorities will be discussed for various noise topics, which will be incorporated into Roadmaps with recommendations for the European Commission.
Through such a workshop, you are given a unique opportunity to influence future research on aviation noise supported by the European Commission.
Note: The PULSAR workshop will be held at NLR-Marknesse on 23 October 2025, following the CEAS-ASC workshop (21-22 October 2025), and is free of charge. The workshop is open to all CEAS-Aeroacoustics specialists, as well as to external experts.
